Summary
On March 11, 2022, sixteen Ukrainian soldiers were killed in an airstrike in Liudvynivka, Kyiv Oblast. These
soldiers were part of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade "Edelweiss" and were buried together in a mass
grave in Chernivtsi on May 2, 2024.
The burial in Sadhora Cemetery was a significant event as it was the first mass grave of its kind during the full-
scale war. This decision was made by the families, as the soldiers had served together in the same unit.

Individual Incident Locations
Potential location 1
48°21'27"N 25°57'16"E
These sites both have paved paths, are along a main path (warranting it to have street lighting as seen in background of Суспільне Чернівці video), have trees in the background ad have the correct density of graves in the background.
Potential location 2
48°21'31"N 25°57'24"E
This site would have the space to accommodate all 16 bodies but lacks any sort of memorial/colour. Vegetation also does not align with a grave that has just been recently dug (although may be turfed).
